Deposit and withdraw

Both actions are in the "Balance" panel on the market page. Both work at any time, in every phase of a lull.

Deposit#

1. Open the market from "Markets".
2. In the "Balance" panel, click "Deposit".
3. Choose the asset: USDC or AAPLx.
4. Enter the amount. AAPLx is entered in shares, as your wallet shows it.
5. Approve the transaction in your wallet.

The amount appears as Free once the transaction confirms. The program credits what the vault actually received.

A deposit draws from your wallet's token account for that asset. For AAPLx that is a Token-2022 account, which you already have if your wallet holds AAPLx. Your first deposit in a market also creates your balance account, and your wallet pays its rent.

How much to deposit#

Your free balance must cover each order at the moment you reveal it:

• a buy locks its USDC amount;
• a sell locks its AAPLx amount;
• an LP quote locks both its max base and its max quote.

Sealing locks nothing, so you can deposit at any point before your reveal. Depositing early, or keeping a standing balance in the market, avoids a deposit during the lull that hints at your side.

Withdraw#

1. In the "Balance" panel, click "Withdraw".
2. Choose USDC or AAPLx and enter the amount.
3. Approve the transaction.

Only Free can be withdrawn. Locked amounts are released when their ticket is claimed after the cross, and you can withdraw them from then on. If your wallet has no token account for the asset, the withdrawal creates one, and your wallet pays its rent.

Shares and raw units#

The program stores AAPLx in raw token units, before the Scaled UI multiplier. The app converts the shares you enter into raw units with the mint's current multiplier, and shows your balance in shares the same way. A round number of shares can therefore show small differences in the last decimal places. See Units.

If a transfer fails#

• Insufficient free balance. The withdrawal is larger than Free. Lower the amount, or wait until locked amounts are claimed.
• No token account. A deposit needs a token account for that asset in your wallet.
• Paused or frozen token. The AAPLx issuer can pause transfers or freeze accounts. AAPLx deposits and withdrawals fail until it lifts that. See Risks.
